Adi's Vent-low ;)
This is my 1995 vento 2.0 GL, with a bit of a story....
I got it about 7 months ago, looking like this...
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
It had some rather gash 17s and a gay front grille and plates, which were soon all rectified, luckily though it came with coilovers, powerflow cat back with sebring rear box all already fitted. Unfortunately a week or 2 after getting the car, the gearbox snogged the tarmac and leaked all its fluid everywhere.
Anyways to cut a long story short, i took it to a local garage, who I thought were friendly, anyways they had it 5 months just to replace the gearbox, clutch and radiator. When I finally got it back a few weeks ago, it was covered in moss and had gained a few small rust bubbles
2 weeks ago it went straight through it's MOT, looking like this...

Then I dropped the front a bit more, re-furbed my wheels in gloss white, and painted the fog blanks white to see how it looked...

In the 1st pic you can see my white LED sidelights I love the look of the wheels, but didn't like the "whiteheads" as my mates called them, so I've put on standard fog blanks for now. Looking into all red rear clusters next
comments welcome

Haha Teena I will confess I joined when you mentioned the site! I didn't know there was a site specifically for the booted dubs
Buckland - I don't know exactly how much lower it is from standard as it had the coilovers on already when I bought it, but there is plenty of thread left front and rear, and it's still on the helper springs! I'd normally remove them on coilovers to gain maximum low-ness! But on the vento I can't really go much lower as the VR splitter restricts me and the speed bumps around here

Re: Adi's Vent-low ;)
My trouble is, I've had 5 mk2 golfs now, and the only way I'd get rid now is if some1 offered me a straight swap for a mk2 GTi

Hi. Welcome to the club. Motors looking good. The white fog blanks don't look that bad in the photos. I also think the smaller rims in white suit the car really well. Keep up the good work.

Re: Adi's Vent-low ;)
nice motor and pretty low indeed, not keen on the blanks though bit of a random link to the wheels imo and it just fusses up the front a bit

Re: Adi's Vent-low ;)
It's ok, standard fog blanks are on now. When I get round to it i'l get the tinting spray out and re-do them as they were before. If any of you see her at any shows this year, gimme a wave! Oh and I'l be dropping her a bit more for show purposes

Re: Adi's Vent-low ;)
it's up for £900 as that seems to be the price for nice, modded mk3s, but i'm open to sensible offers.
i'd prefer to do a deal on another dub, as long as it's not a 2litre!
