Race car livery Empty Race car livery

Post by PAB Sat Feb 28, 2009 12:19 am

Should I get my track car sign written as a race replica???

What do you all think? let me know, the first photo is my car, the second photo is a late 1990's Mk3 TDi VW Motorsport race car from the Nurbergring 24hr race... it finished third overall.

I would change the lettering to read Jetta instead of TDi and paint my door bottoms silver, the blue stripe looks good on silver.... It'll be good to see what you all think....

In my opinion you should do it. It would really suit the type of car you have. I like the look you already have but race look would be just that bit more right for it. But as I said thats just my opinion. Keep up the good work.

Thanx to all for your imput, gonna hold off on the livery just yet. I've got plans for a tube steel front end with carbon panels on the track car so watch this space.

hi PAB,
I hope its not too late for this? I think you could be onto a winner with a good scheme that you like Very Happy , so here is a little more inspiration for you !!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

theres even a few booty mobiles from the vento cup on there.

Personally I think what would be a head turner ... and also not too OTT is a monochrome scheme similar to the piccy below ( a two tone mid grey and darker grey?? , would look bob on against your silver paintwork ) Very Happy
