How i came here
basically i followed my interest in all things GTI Engineering. Good to see a collection of enthusiasts for the Jetta GT.
I pursuaded my brother to buy a Jetta syncro about 9 or do years ago and he returned the favour by putting a GTI Engineering RE2000 Golf syncro under my nose. I then read up on who they were and have been a fan since
the Jetta is also a favourite too and I hope to get a nice one as soon as a few things are ironed out
heres a link to the Golf if you like. Theres load of GTI Engineering stuff on there too

Re: How i came here
I've been following your Golf on CGti, its really good to see a rare model being returned to excellent condition instead of stripped for parts like so many.

Re: How i came here
its not as good as wanted to do it, but as time has gone on Ive been lucky with some finds. Its been the same basic design since the beginning though- keep it VW or factory standard spin-offs
Im going to look at a Jetta today- I know I should wait until cash is better but after the last couple of years Ive had then I think its time to be a bit selfish and foolish. Its a car I spotted on ebay many moons ago and Ive kept in touch with the buyer. It was always just out of reach but the price has dropped and Ive just received an interim payment from my motorbike accident
so maybe Ill have a jetta soon.........
