Well here she is. Bought her for £120 a few months back. Needed a new ignition and the cooling system sorted out. After that its brakes, pump up the tyres and MOT time. Just found out today after sorting out the thermostat housing, that she also needs a new starter motor - Ill be off to VeeDubs in Gateshead for that one. At some point someone has added the GTi trim too.
Pics are not the best (hope image size aint too big - if so anyone who wants to resize them feel free). She will look way better soon enough - I'll keep the pics coming as progress is made.

looks like a good base for a project. you sure someone has added the trim? some none gti's do come with all the bumpers and arches etc. not sure if the TX's did but they might have done

I think that they just added the GTi badge to the door strips actually. All the arches are in good nick - no cracks or scuffs. Just gonne get her legal then start tweeking.

Cheers, it dont seem to need much like but these things have a way of throwing out a few (expensive) surprises dont they !
