As you can all see I managed to get 1 day project switch ready in time, just. Passed its MOT that morning which left the afternoon to do alittle more polishing and tidying. Still more planned for it however, but not too much as its just meant to be a daily driver. I will hopefully add more of an update on the 1 day post tomorrow.

Nice motors! I saw them there last night but I didn't see who was driving them. Have you resprayed one of them, I was looking out for a blue one. Good to see some more Jetta's down there. The C reg is nice and low, I saw you creeping over the speed bumps on the way in! You were lucky to get spaces next to each other. I'll keep an eye out for you next time.

well sadly not in a position to buy the schmidts yet so could be some time as engine upgrade which i couldnt resist has just set me back a little on funds but will let you know when im getting rid. i think on matt black car completely gloss white wheels would look awsome or have the rim a gloss white with black satin centres or is this what you ment? i dont think much to having the centre cap a different colour how low you planning on going? mine is dropped about 60mm and the 15's fit just comfortably under the arches my next cosmetic mod is the front bumper im smoothing the indicators and number plate recess gonna keep the top and bottom black the middle bit white and put fogs in it to work as indicators havent worked out where too put the number plate yet though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moody pictures - i love em! I now have the fetish for black bits on my car and i have to say that the wheels look stunning! Nice to see project '1 day switch' on the road too! I remember that cold night in the petrol station being told all about it, and it's nice to see in on the road!

ye white rim and black centre is what i meant....ditto i am short of funds at mo realy so in no rush....

plannigj to lower like 80 on front and 60 on rear or sumit likt that.....in my pic it was heavily laden in the boot so thast why the front is pointign to the sky lol...

that sounds like an awsome plan!! like the golfs ive seen with smoothed big bumpers...and especialy like the idea of indicaitrs in fog lights!! love little clever mods like that!!! what paint will you use for the black parts ion ur bumper? cus obviously you wont be able to have it textured like standrad????

next mod for mine is paint and tints rele.....aswell as im gonan smooth the rear door handles and add chineese ones on front (using rear ones with no lock holes).....just finished doing my install of the sub the other week....removed the tray in centre armrest and used a kenwood 10" sub on mdf covered in carpet...loosk awsome and sounds pretty good! very vibration if your in the back tho lol.....pics on here soon!!

Cheers Trampy I like the way they look together too, all thats missing is loads more jettas Wink. Glad to have the white one on the road myself, I was missing the jetta buzz as the blue one is still in the garage. Hows yours coming on? Still thinking of messing with the engine? Let me know if you want any help, I've got a thing at the moment for messing with engines. Stari wants me to drop a 2.0l lump in his now, casue I let him have a go in mine. How are the t-shirts coming as well?

Jettamk2 thanks for your comments too. It seems abit quiet on here at the mo but maybe its just that everyone else is busy unlike stari and myself who seem to just live and breath the cars at the mo. Nice to hear your plans for your motor, theres a few people on the site spending lots of time doing up there cars, it will be interesting to see them all next year when the shows get going again. Hopefully we can generate some interest in a few pre-season get togethers as well. From your post I take it to mean you are having your car resprayed matt black, I may have another alternative that could save you some money if you wanted to go gloss black instead! But if your set on matt black then not to worry.
