A quickie to introduce myself, i'm old to vw's but new to jettas. I've owned pretty much every derivative of Golf gti, mk1's, mk2's, mk3 vr6, mk4 20vt and various others over the years. I've always liked the Jetta mk2 but never got around to owning one until now. Basically, bored 1 night trawling the internet, I came across a mk2 coupe in royal blue in reasonable condition for a very reasonable price, only problem was it was in Holland and LHD!
3 weeks later i'm on the ferry trailer in tow and returned with the Jetta coupe! I'm currently converting it to RHD and doing a 20VT conversion from Audi A3 AJQ, it WILL be finished for show E38 2009, that is the target!
Anyway will keep progress posted and any input / Help will be greatly received!
