Criminal Activity
Why is it i am considered to be a 'Criminal' for having German style plates.
The Goverment fund raisers might stop me, but they cant take them away.

Re: Criminal Activity
Did they give you an ASBO too? I thought number plates were only a £40 fine, looks like the feds were shaping up for a armed take down. Ventos are pretty gangster.

Re: Criminal Activity
No ASBO's for plates! Don't worry about that
There i was, minding my own business doing 29mph in a 30 zone, i had the music off and leaving the recomended stopping distance between me and the car in front and then woop woop woop:
Federal Agent: Is this your car sir?
Nick: Yes Officer
Federal Agent: We are just stopping you as part of a routine check
Nick: There seems to be nothing routine in using two high powered police vehicles to stop one Vento
Federal Agent: Do you realise your plates are illegal
Nick: Yes Officer
Federal Agent: Do you realise thats going to cost you £30
Nick: Yes Officer
Federal Agent: Then why leave them on
Nick: Because a new set of plates are £35
Federal Agent: Well now you need to change them
Nick: NO Officer, i shall just take my chances as i am still £5 up.

Re: Criminal Activity
You BAD BAD BOY Trampy. That was a full take down. Surprised they didn't come jumping out the car and sliding over the bonnet with guns drawn as well I will have to be more careful around our area if this is now we are being treated.

Re: Criminal Activity
haha we all now they dont have anything better to do, as far as im concered if i wasnt spending my hard earned beer tokens on my car than i would probally be spending it down the pub so i dont see it being a harm??? anyone e lse agree.JaySteed wrote:looks like the feds were shaping up for a armed take down. Re: Criminal Activity
Well thats true! At least the cars required beer is coming down in price, i went past a petrol station yesterday that was selling at 91.9p !!! Finally a break in life costs!
So, i look at the above experience with a small and cheeky smile! The £30 fine is just another government issued certificate to add to my collection!
