Freshly detailed
Got the Gora detailed on Wednesday and thought I'd nip down to take some pics at lunch time. Its done just over 100 miles since it was detailed, but there wasn't much dirt on it, just some dust that I took off with a mitt. Also got some proper pics taken on Wednesday night that I am waiting on getting back that I'll post up later.

Cheers buddy, can't take the credit for doing it though. My mate spent 6 hours working away at it, and still says there is more to do to it

Nice looking car! Bora's (with or without the golf front) dont need to be super super low to look great and this car proves that

Nice looking gora Big A
Just out of interest.... where did you manage to get the US spec golf/bora parts from? Im only asking as one of my mates is looking for a US front bumper trim... the one with the side repeaters like yours.
Cheers,
brock

Re: Freshly detailed
Cheers for the positive comments guys
Cheers mate, but try telling that to the boys over on VW Vortex, they seem to think I should be dragging the ass out of it, they don't know just how bad our roads are over here. Its lowered 45mm which I think is enough for everyday use, infact if there are 2 people in the back the back end sits just on top of the tyres and scrubs over any dips in the road.
All the US spec parts were sent over from the US, which wasn't cheap btw, especially the boot lid The front bump strip is actually a Jap spec one with Mk3 US running lights cut into them. Fancied the Jap spec one as the number plate recess is smaller, whereas the US one is totally smooth with no recess.

Re: Freshly detailed
Does it catch?? Have to get the old dremel out and get to work on the arches - bit of arch liner and inner arch removed/bargained with should do the trick!!
Wouldnt worry too much as you have your car how YOU want it! Everyone is always gonna say - slam it, slam it, but then again they havent really experienced each individuals local road systems! My current height is fine in my area but a trip over to manchester saw me shredding tyre bigtime due to big dirty potholes!!
more stretch on the tyres maybe?
