roof rack or not ??

as title, stuck my rack on today what do people think ??

depends what look you wanna go for

looks more retro with it and yet looks more free flowing (smooth) without.

liking both just to complicate things

Lower it and then decide ... that might help with the direction to take the car down! Mk1 5 door jet's look amazing rat and resto.
If it was mine, i'd leave it off... but i wouldnt rule out a retro wooden slat rack, thats just my opinion

i was thinkin the same with the wood.

Great minds think alike im told .. Run it with the roof rack for a while! give it a week and then you'll know whether its a keeper or not..Get a dirty old brown leather suitcase a spare wheel and a small beach ball if you can!! (all tied to the rack somehow lol) then get a pic of that up

macca, im hunting for the wheel n suitcase as we speak, was thinking of a blow up doll rather than beach ball (just to be different!!!)

was looking at drilling and tapping some wooden slats to this as besides being mega cheap i kinda like the rack.

think its a keeper either way as i keep glancing outta the window for a sneaky peak at her every ten mins.

i like the sound of that drill and tapping business!! should be quite cheap. Blow up doll would certainly shock a few of the neighbours too!!!
