Hi Im new from somerset (bath)
Well im new here and i just bought my mk2 jetta at the weekend,
I got it off ebay and there are some pics in the members ride section,
its mint, with just 56000 genuine miles on a H plate, cost=£255

As for me, im steve, im 17 and i have had three vw's since i started driving in April!! lol a mk3 polo coupe, a 1.6 golf, and now the jetta.
I needed a smaller engine than the 1.6 for obviuos insurance reason so when i saw the jetta ( its a 1.3) i thought well it looks good, iv always wanted one of those and its cheaper on insurance.
My insurance on my golf was £1800 as a second driver on my dads insurance, whereas the jetta is £970. So yeah im happy in all ways, i'v got a bargain car, cheaper insurance, less fuel usage, and something just that little bit different than the popular golf!
So far its been very good!, it handles so much better than my golf, ( ithink the golf needed alligning though) and it isnt that much slower really.
Well thats me and my car

Hi welcome to the club. Just catching up on my post as I ain't been on line for awhile and I saw the pictures of your car and wanted to say well done looks like a real bargin. Just remember with a booted motor theres always more room for stuff, like some big fat ICE, tell your mates that. Also the jetta's a great all rounder. Strip it out and fit a big engine for a g8 track car, or slam it to the ground on small wheels for a real rat look touror, or just keep it as it is for a solid cheap reliable run around.
Enjoy the club
