Re: JETTA MK2 TX
have to agree, persoally if i had your jeta id ditch the rear lightsa in favor of possibly some crystal top red bottom ones that will suit the colour alot more and maybe ditch the arh mouldings, would look a lot cleaner, but looks really nice as is

Dont worry about the scabby bits dude just means you've got more work when you finish the design 90's ,vardo wrote:cheerz matey,i like tha cups, they are pretty scabby, but im just gonna run them for the winter.mup130tdi wrote:looking sweet ive allways liked ats cups, but the car look top notch with the borbets
imgonna bring the suspension down a bit more coz im not happy with the stance
you should of seen my porca splits the person that had them before me had let them go scabby in places but to make them look ok he painted the lot without splitting them

ok new plans in action are im gonna do something with the rear lights(will keep yous posted).and im looking for the small rear quarter arch and gonna remove the archs(but this will require paintwork as when its been painted in the past the archs were not removed and the paint line is really bad).
also ive found a company that does crystal clear westy h/lamps in the u.s
but they dont ship to the u.k so im looking into this at the moment????
ive also got a front bumper with the chrome inserts en route(canny find a rear one anywhere...except vw and they want £196 plus vat )
its a long way off,ALWAYS A WORK IN PROGRESS!

Re: JETTA MK2 TX
...AND MUP
fixing wheels is a pain full stop, but if i had the money to buy new wheels i would,so old wheels needing furbed is the way it will always be.
was at my mates workshop tonight and spotted my wheels in the corner, untouched since he got them months ago,so im gonna take them back and just carry on with them myself!!

Re: JETTA MK2 TX
Looks smart indeed.....you must spend more time fitting wheels than driving it
I'll be keeping an eye on this to see what you have planned.

Hi.
I Like this car a lot. Agreed, the small bumpers and westmoreland combination works really well.
More updates when you have them please!
