GTi Fest 06/07/08

i've been to santa pod on a jap event, only thing i don't like about going down strip is you gotta show off a little before going down strip. i know it has its effects in warming tires up but you can NOT do it with an audience like that.

I wont be taking mine up the strip as ive only got a 2.slow 8v.

I even get beaten by grannies at traffic light grand prixs!.

Stari23 and I both think we could make it if you would like us to join you. We know we are newbies but I have up loaded some pics of our cars and maybe we would be worthy enough to attend. He will get his oil problem sorted and mine will be on the road again by then. If you would like us to join you that would be great.

Well i will be running the 1/4's so 'Tommy long' you should be running to. Your scared of only having a 2.0 8v.... i only run a 1.8! Check out the video in the other post i will be putting up of me Vs Venturbo.

i'll go head to head with reaver, AGAIN !!!, lets see if i can extend the gap after me remap.

betcha reaver is saving and selling some stuff to get that remap at this event.

Who is going to be recording all this excellent ammo for the website! I think - from what i can see on who is going i have the LEAST powerfull car, so any races thrown my way are good!

I think so. But let's be honest - come the day when i see a Prius Vs Insight running santa pod will be the same day i drive off a cliff on the way home!

as seen as i was runnin round like a pap with reaver's camera at inters i could always take some vids for you. no doubt popeye will be on the track all day so i'll, more than likely, have nothin to do and i'll be on my billy own cos bora18T and jedi16v aren't comin
i took the video of popeye vs reaver so, if you like my handy work, supply me with a GOOD camera and i'll be off!!
As you can't let me know (cos i haven't got a jetta, i've only got a polo so i'm not allowed to join ) let popeye know. Or i could just do what i'm doin now and sneak on but shhhh everyone, don't tell reaver!!!!!!!

Lol - i like it! Well i shall ask Venturbo to bring his camera! And, in answer to Reaver - Let's do it! I shall be racing all day i should think! Well - as long as my tires hold out or the Chassis gives in because of the immense power my car kicks out! We should all have at least one race against each other, we have the whole day remember. And did we get the stand sorted out? How many cars are we allowed?
