VW Festival,Harewood,August

Is it too late to organise some kind of club stand/area for this show?,i went last year and thought it was really good!,would be great for the clubs profile.I'm quite happy to get in touch with the appropriate people and see what the score is,i.e. cost,numbers or allocated space etc.

.....but before i do,is the club up for it?,and how many would be prepared to show......'cos there's not much point if it's just gonna be me the missus and the wee man:roll:

Yes the club itself is up for it weve just got to get the members interest

Ok,the deal is there's no charge for club stands,all we have to do is pre-book the tickets for the day as a group booking.....no restriction in numbers,and the amount can be changed upto 2 weeks before the event.......and in the process of making an enquiry for ths event you actually end up provisionaly booking a stand/area......so we are now at that stage!

All we need is a deffinate number of people,who are able to pay for there ticket in advance!!

So........

19th August,Harewood house,Leeds,need to be there for 8am,happy to put their mota on display......lets get a Jetta Owners club presence sorted

It really is a great show,with plenty going on (brilliant for kids and families) and some of the prettiest surroundings i've ever seen for a car show.

.....oh,and maybe stick a bit of glue on this thread!!!

C'mon folks.......any interest at all??.....i don't even know anyone with a Jetta of any age to drag along.....the best i can do is a couple of 'rado's and the good lady's polo.....s'pose we could disguise them with some cardboard boxes and gaffer tape.....they'd end up looking like the badly disguised prototypes you see in auto-express!!!

C'mon people,we need to get this club noticed,we only need half a dozen mota's and a banner!!!!!

I'm afraid if no interests shown i'm gonna have to say yes to another local club who want me to put the Vento on their stand......which is fair enough,but i really want to represent this fine new club!!!

i'm goin but not on a stand. i've got to work at 6pm so i can't really get on a stand coz i've been told by VR6OC that the car has to stay there until late.
