Ultimate Dubs 2008 (Telford)

Ok peeps this is it were going forward with the Ultimate Dubs show its nice and central (top to bottom of the country so its a good place to start for attendance) please read below. The actual stand is only going to have space for 5/6 cars which need to be of very high show standard but we are thinking maybe a mini meet on the saturday afternoon somwhere.



Now no going off topic with this you know the drill its a cut and paste.

Me and the missus will be heading up the night before and setting up the stand if poss. Ive sent off for the details i.e stand prices and availability if your up for it details can be found

My vento is not show car material so i'm out, having just read the terms on conds. it put me out even more as i work sat nites at takeaway.

although i will turn up to the event so for those who are attending and not represent - fancy a convoy? i don't think there are many left near me.

i'll come and meet up witcha! couldnt garantee the jetta tho!

White Mk2 Jetta in mint Condition, 1 owner from new before me, tottaly mint standard interior, slammed on coillies and G60 Sebrings (which will bwe refurbed, or some other sweet retro wheels will be on). Small Bumpers and plain white and yellow pressed plates.

ill be there again,been both years so far and its a top show,hotelling it on the sat night is a great laugh and the pxxx up is near legendary. hoping to have the coupe there although not built up somehow

I'll be there, should be on another stand with a few race cars if all goes to plan. I've been inside at the last 2 so fingers crossed I'll make it 3 in a row. Every year it's tight to get the car finished in time, and this year I haven't even started yet!! best get cracking really.

I should be there for the 3rd show, so if you guys want another car my Bora can be available

can't wait til this actually, don't think i actually went ot any car shows this year. and only just been on a local meet with local forum and the dub atmosphere is very different.

Will there be anyone goin from the yorkshire region?
would be great to meet up with some of you guys for the first ever time

im aming to get there testing jetta weekend before so depends what happens there

if you can only get 5 or 6 cars on the stand might be cool to have a mk1, mk2, mk3, mk4 and mk5 on there!

if you can find a mk5 that is lol im sure the other mk's wont be hard to get hold of

Reaver - just emailed you back. forgot to mention to let me know if you need better shots of my vento. will list all minor imperfections.

I'm Up for it... Will put on stand too if you want it... Its very tidy for a 12yr old car.... Only got two marks on paint work that i can think of and should have new interior by then too so will be looking extra good....

Will be putting some pics up in cars section when coilies fitted next week....

Reaver - i don't think the idea of mini sticker will be that good, just incase everyone starts to have one then we'll end up with noobs that will like to take the piss and give us bad reputation.

id love to goto this but ive worked it out that it lands on my sunday to work. there isnt enough people to cover that sunday stupid gay rotas

Is the stand in or outside? I noticed in PVW this month there'd be a bit of both.

I do think a premier sticker would be a good idea, i.e. a badge of honour awarded for outstanding efforts in keeping the booted ones visible in the dub scene.
