Hi all, just got my first vw and its a 2001 bora tdi, red di. drivin . Had her a week and really enjoying the 50+ mpg compaired to my last car which was giving me 20+ mpg on a good day. ( subaru legacy gtb twin turbo import) . Looking forward to talking to you all on the forum. cheers steve

Know where you are coming from with the mileage issues on your last car - my old 3000GT TT was a nightmare on juice

Yeah, living in the economy mode now, excellent fuel mpg. Just sorted out tracking and camber problems, now to sort out the remote central locking and n/s/f electric window.

fuel economy don't count on racing cars lol! lol!


Just got back off Heatrow and took the wrong turn so, the rest of the way was flatout (i stuck to speed limmits....up to 3rd gear lol! ) and filled up for 2morrow and did 27 to the gallon Twisted Evil
