Hi everyone, im ben from stoke, got my first jetta a few weeks back. The plan is to pull it apart, respray, engine swap and put back together by summer. Previous to the jetta ive had a few mk2's and more recently a mk1 gti. But always wanted a mk1 jetta. Looking forward to using the site and meeting some of you at meets and shows in 09. Ben

Hi mate, not sure about the colour yet, might go with something like matt grey or i do quite like matt brown so i can have a go myself with a compressor. Engine is on its lasts legs to be honest, might rebuild it or go with something more modern, possibly petrol. Bit vague i know but i am trying to find some inspiration on the web so i can choose a direction and go for it. Any good photo galleries you know of?
