my new mk1 jetta Empty my new mk1 jetta

Post by veedubmaster Tue Sep 02, 2008 8:00 pm

just introduced myself in the newbie section.

travelled 7 hr round trip to collect this little gem few days ago.

'83 A plate,1.5 manual box, manual weber carb, standard in every way.

The guy I bought her from had her over 18yrs and cared for the car like his child. He kept every receiptt, mot and along with a new engine and clutch has pretty much replaced everything on the car as needed.

she's in very good condition bar a few rust bubbles on the front driver door, overall im chuffed to bits as Ive searched over two years to find one priced right and in good running order.

oh yeah bought with tax n test too.

i'll get more detailed pics up in the good weather (presuming people wanna see em Embarassed )

comments welcome.

ps i kinow she needs hitting with the lowering stick asap !!
