Bora Highline Empty Bora Highline

Post by Paul B Fri Jun 22, 2007 10:19 pm

Hi all, just been looking on Edition 38 and noticed a link to this forum.

I currently own a 2000 Bora TDi Highline which I've had nearly 12 months after owning a Corrado, 2 mk2 GTI's and a Mk1. I've been into Dubs for around 10 years now....it's a hard habit to break :p

Anyway here's a brief spec

1.9 TDi - AJM 115PS PD lump
6 speed
Full Heated Leather
DSP & 6 Disc changer
Cruise Control
Rain sensing wipers
R32 all'y trim
RS6 replica wheels, which I'm either getting shot of or getting refurb'd probably satin black
FK Highsports

I'm planning a few little mods, but first I need a new front ARB as mine catches (surprise, surprise although I've raised the car since the photo's), fit my poly bushes...then it'll be tidying the bodywork up a bit as there's a few dinks. I'm gonna do the grille black and maybe the mirrors which will match the wheels nicely. The only other thing is a US spec bootlid so if anyone can help me out on that I'd be dead grateful.

Here's the pics....I've sold the US spec rear lights too as I prefer the Sport ones (all red)

Cheers guys,

I've had to raise her up a bit due to the tyres fouling the inner arches and the drive shaft rubbing the ARB. Next job is to fit the poly bushes I got from Inters, get a new ARB and some new front tyres and see her kissing tarmac again.....to hell with the speed humps Wink
