Your cars really tempting me to go down the mk2 route again

Nothing like that just buffed shine. Are the mechanicals sorted now, the engine looks tidy from what I can see.

Sadly not yet, going back into full time employment next week so i'll getting a regular income for the first time in months which means i'll be able to show the car some love and get her running sweet

Well after more than enough time I've started getting the engine sorted. Fitted new exhaust studs and picked up a load bolts from the stealers and some high temp paint, got the back of the block all cleaned up and painted today, need to get an engine stand so i can get the lump off the ground to drain the oil then i can remove all the breather and oil filter bits to get the front cleaned up

All the hard work will be worth it in the end as it's such a gorgeous looking mk2 and, can I just say, it's about bloody time too you done something with him!
