my jetta is a j-plate and ebay listing said it had power steering but its really heavy and i cant find the p/s filler bottle..anyone know if it has p/s or not? (gx model)
also gear stick has play in it? (any ideas?)
my clutch has to be pushed to floor to get in gears but bite quite high,is this a sign of a shite clutch?
good thing is that its got all new shocks on it and 4 new tyres(bonus
done 125 miles on the motorway on sunday hitting 90 and no steering wheel wobble unlike the missus 04 plate astra lol
what i really need is someone from yorkshire who is into jetta`s to come n look at stewie and offer to be my cheap mechanic!!

enough about little stewie...any dj`s on here that wanna buy 300-400 trance/dance vinyl(need cash for stewies new parts)

Looks like you used the wrong link. Use the one on photobucket that says "DIRECT LINK" Then place it between the two [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
(you need to click the image link twice, then place your link in between.

If you hit "quote" on this post, it will show you what i did.

NEW BOOTS!!!! AHEM!!! When the centre caps are on they look deadddddd sexyyyyyy. May invest in some lightweights next year but i love the std steely dans.

Yeah give her at least a week to build your arm muscles up hahaha. Could be your tracking worth 30 notes if it is, that should lighten it up a touch. Sounds silly but keep your tire pressures up to what they should. Infactttt do that first before you see about tracking. You'll be surprised how much the steering lightens up.

To be honest i dont think its worth putting P/S in the little 1.6 I'd wait till you drop a big lump in. Plus ive heard rumours that whacking P/S on the little but powerfull 1.6 kills the power a little?
Im not a big muscley guy and i have no trouble without P/S i think personnaly that you should just give her a little time and the love will take over. Andddd im not sure on the gearbox oil, But im sure if you go into your local motor-savers they can sort you out.

did you drop ya jetta yourself and how much did it cost ya?
im not gonna change the engine as i only passed my test 3 months ago after 18 years of driving bans lol
wanna keep stewie totally original but drop him a bit(will rip him apart when i go to illegal field raves)

will only be keeping him til may next year as im taking over the finance on missus mk 5 astra so it`ll be up for grabs...maybe you`d like a matching pair? lol

Haha no worries. Yeah me and my buddy did. Coil Overs cost £200 and if youve got some car savvy buddies you'll have it slammed in a few hours. It cost me 2 wispas for the labour. Lol.

UP FOR GRABS!!! I hope your gonna be eating your hat next May. Butt I may take her off your hands if your not too far away and shes been looked after. But a few months of Jetta driving and you'll be wanting a bigger lump in her end of next year.

its taxed, mot`d,and has new rear shox, pretty tidy for an 18 year old!!
500 and its yours...unless you get me a merc c180 with t+t and i`ll swap??
missus aint too happy, but women are never happy unless they are the ones who are spending!
well folks i either sell the f*cker or it`ll just sit on the drive till it rots away....surely a jetta lover can save him??
