Boot lock seal needed

I need a new boot lock seal for my mk1, can anyone help me out, provide me with a part number or something? The one fitted has perished and let's in water, and this great weather isn't going to last forever! Thanks

Have you tryed a mk2 boot seal if it does fit there should be plenty of mk 2 Golf in the brakers yards (that is if you can't find a new one)

No luck yet, but i'm keeping my eyes peeled! I don't suppose you could help me out with this could you - I want to know what paint code my mk1 is, or even just the name? More detailed pics on the new members section if that helps!

there should be a sticker in the boot if the water from the boot seal hasnt damaged it photograph that and ill be able to tell you the color code and name

Is the boot lock seal different to the boot lid seal ??? Are the BOOT LOCK SEALS the same as golf cab ??

the boot lock seal is the same as on mk2 and mk3 polo saloons, but there a bastad to get off with out damaging them as i also need a new seal

I was hoping it'd be the same as a mk1 Golf, is that not the case then? I'm having trouble tracking one down, and the blu-tack on my boot is quite unsightly!
