'87 Jetta Coupe GL TD from Belgium

Will just copy my text from another forum to here, bought the Coupe in 2009

Found it in Germany and 400km later he was in Belgium!

It's an '87 Jetta GL Coupe
1600 turbodiesel with bleu interior
174.842km on the clock and I'm the 3rd owner
almost new summertyres and wintertyres

Plans...?
1st getting it on belgian papers and than:
remove rust,
powersteeringwheel,
big oilchange,
clean it in- and outside,
after that a few details

Last monday was the first step for getting her on belgian papers....
Now I have to wait for them and after that I can almost drive in her

since a while I had the feeling I was sitting in a boat instead of driving in an '87 Jetta...

On a serious note, do nethelle's come up for sale in Belgium very often? I used to own a 16" set years ago but sold them on with the car end have spent 10years kicking myself. I would be prepared to travel for a good set. Many thanks Alex.

I do like all of them but only can drive one set
My mate wants me to put the ATS under it for next season,
but we will see what happens

I always regret selling my Coupe project and would like to get another so I can transfer all the parts from my 16v trackday car

ive gotta find one cheap enough. People want too much over here for ones in poor condition.

Still no update about the wheels but got a package today
I was looking for that more than a year now
